Brainspotting Therapy

Brainspotting is a brain-body based therapy usually used with audio bilateral stimulation, built on the idea that where we look affects how we feel.  It works by finding the appropriate “brainspot” in the client’s visual field to access the deeper subcortical brain in order to access unprocessed or unresolved traumas, emotional distress, and negative emotions.

Brainspotting has shown to be an effective type of therapy in the treatment of a wide range of emotional and somatic conditions including the following:

  Anxiety.                                          Anger issues.

  Performance anxiety.                  Phobias.

  Psychologically induced pain.    Trauma.

  Sports performance issues.
