Insurance and Other Programs
As a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Counsellor my services may be covered by your extended health care benefits plan or by your Employee Assistance Program (EAP). It is recommended to check with your health care benefits provider prior to making your first appointment or starting your sessions.
Counselling services for First Nations and Inuit clients with a status card or NTI Card/Territorial Health Card may be covered by the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program and the Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP).
Approved service provider for Medavie Blue Cross and Green Shield Canada.
Mental health provider for Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) - Veterans, former RCMP members, their caregivers, and families may qualify to receive counselling/psychotherapy services at no cost to them through VAC mental health and wellness program.
Accident Benefits Coverage - clients that have been involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) may be entitled to receive psychotherapy/counselling paid by their auto insurance provider.
Approved WSIB counselling provider - clients that have a registered WSIB claim may be eligible to access my services at no cost to them.
Some clients may be eligible to access psychotherapy/counselling services through the Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP) and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board (CICB).
